Q: Do I need to change to Indonesian Currency ?

A: There's no need to change into Indonesian Rupiahs as Singapore Dollar is accepted everywhere in Batam. But if you plan to explore the island, its always good to have some Rupiahs handy.

Q: What to bring for the trip ?

A: Most important - Your Passport & Cash for the trip. Bring the things you normally would when you go to the beach. Shades, bikinis, beach shorts, towels, flip flops, sun blocks, change of clothes, toiletries ...

Q: Will it be good weather this weekend ?

A: Well … We are no meteorologists and can’t predict the weather. The forecasts on certain weather webs are never accurate. Also, many people always assume that if it rains in Singapore means it’s the same over in Batam. We find it amazing how can someone think that way for a destination 30 km away. All we can say is we’re blessed with good weather most of the time.

Q: What happens if it rains ?

A: The ski sessions will still go on even if it rains. We will only pause if there's lightning & thunder. Our advice is : Don't let the weather bother you if  you're ready to have some fun ...

Q: Is it safe in Batam ? Is our safety guaranteed ?

A: The Ski Park is situated in Waterfront City where its well secured. Patrol officers are constantly on the move. It’s the safest part of Batam away from the town area. Yes we do guarantee your safety as long as you stay with  the group and within the compound of Waterfront City.  But once you choose to detach from us, we cannot baby-sit you anymore.

Q: If I choose to stay the night, can the return ferry ticket from the Day Package be used on the following day ?

A: Yes, the return ticket is open & valid for 3 months. We'll hand you the tickets if you stay the night. The hotels you stay in will be able to help book your return trip. The tickets can be used to depart from Waterfront City, Batam Centre, Sekupang or Nongsa. Pls visit www.batamfast.com for schedules.

Q: Are the locker and shower facilities at the ski park ?

A: Yes its available F.O.C.

Q: What are the parking fees at Harbourfront Centre ?

A: The cheapest parking spot would be the open air car park at Seah Imm Food Centre opposite Harbourfront Centre. For parking rates at Harbourfront, kindly visit www.singaporecruise.com

Q: I am bringing my wakeboard. Any special arrangements ?

A: If you're bringing your own wakeboard, we urge that you use a board bag or edge protector, as its required to be checked-in under Singapore Cruise Centre regulations for a fee of S$10/ bag.

Q: I am a non swimmer, can I still do it ?

A: Yes definitely. You’ll be issued a coast guard approved life jacket and will be given instructions what to do if you fall. Don’t worry , you’ll not be sucked into the open sea, cos we’re in an enclosed lake. And our crews are always on the look out and ready to help non swimmers.

Q: What happens when I fall ?

A: Simply swim or paddle yourself to the shore, our Bay Watch Crews on motor bikes will come get you  and bring you back to the starting dock.

Q: Is it ok to wear my glasses while learning to Cable Ski ?

A: We do not recommend you wear your glasses to ski. In fact, we also advise not to wear any loose jewellery and watches. Because when you fall, it’s a split second thing. The impact can be quite strong and there’s no time to react. But if you really have to wear your glasses, make sure you have a good strap for it.

Q: My girlfriend wants to bring her dog along, can hor ?

A: Yes if her dog has a passport. Yes if the dog is you. Yes if she wants to apply for the permit and have the dog quarantined in Batam.

Q: Ah yes , My Day Package includes the Ski Equipments right ? Then for my girlfriend, she taking the Spectators Package, got include what equipments ah ?
