Visa On Arrival Policy

With effect from 1st July 2011, the visa on arrival fee to visit Batam, Indonesia
has been readjusted to usd$10 (from usd$25)
The visa fee is for single entry only, NOT multiple. Max stay of 7 days.
Currently, nationals from 65 countries require and qualify for the visa on arrival.
(See list below. Countries not on the list need to apply via the Indonesian Embassy)
The application of the visa is upon arrival in Batam at the visa counters in the immigration area.
We highly suggest to those who require visa to prepare the exact usd$10 before departing Singapore.
The visa officers in Batam will sometimes short change or give ridiculous exchange rate if paying in SGD$ or other currencies.
There are money changers available at the Ferry Departure Hall in Singapore Harbourfront Centre.
